360Energy and Stellantis Argentina announce the commissioning of the solar park in the Córdoba Industrial Park, a key project within the energy strategy that both companies are promoting in the country. The solar park has an installed capacity of 8 MW and uses state-of-the-art bifacial panels and Tracker technology. The project is now operational and supplying clean, renewable energy to Stellantis's automotive production plant.
This marks a concrete step towards the energy independence of the industrial complex. The renewable energy generated by the Córdoba solar park is complemented by the supply from the 360Energy La Rioja Solar Complex under a SMATER contract between the two companies, enabling progress towards the goal of supplying the Córdoba Industrial Park with 100% renewable energy. This development is part of a joint US$100 million investment plan launched in 2024, aimed at promoting sustainable energy solutions and reducing the carbon footprint of the automotive company's industrial operations. With these initiatives, 360Energy and Stellantis reinforce their commitment to sustainability and the energy transition, in line with the Stellantis Group's global objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2038, while continuing to consolidate the Córdoba Industrial Park as a strategic pillar of its operations in the region. 360Energy is proud to launch a new solar project within the framework of the joint plan with Stellantis.
“In this sense, we continue to implement our growth plan uninterruptedly in both the solar renewable energy supply segment and in next-generation storage solutions, with projects in Argentina and other Latin American countries,” stated Federico Sbarbi Osuna , CEO of 360Energy . “We are convinced that solar energy is and will be the main driver of change, and our mission is to promote projects that reflect our commitment to transforming the energy matrix of the country and the region,” he added.
