AIKO announced at Intersolar Europe 2026 the opening of limited pre-sales of its new Z Series through nine distribution partners in Europe, along with the signing of additional distributed generation (DG) contracts totaling 1 GW.
The company, a pioneer in BC (Back Contact) technology and its large-scale commercialization, thus reinforces its presence in the European distributed generation market.
Designed exclusively for the premium residential market, the Z Series sets a new industry benchmark as the first all-black 500W module with a footprint of less than 2 m². The 54-cell module delivers 500W in a compact 1762 × 1134 mm form factor, offering approximately 30W more power than comparable TOPCon products in the same footprint.
The Z Series redefines residential solar energy based on four key areas:
- Integrated black design : pure black design, without busbars on the front and with uniform cell coloring, for continuous visual integration in premium residential projects.
- Maximum power : Based on an ABC cell efficiency of 27.4% and an active area ratio of 97%, the Z Series offers the highest power density available in an all-black residential module.
- Long-term reliability : It has a 40-year product warranty and a 40-year performance warranty, aligned with the lifespan expectations of premium European homes.
- Greater fire resistance : the hotspot temperature is kept below 100°C, significantly reducing the risk of fire and reinforcing safety in residential applications.

In addition to pre-sales, AIKO has signed additional distributed generation (DG) contracts totaling 1 GW during the fair, reinforcing the demand for its ABC technology in the European distributed generation segment.
These contracts and the pre-sales of the Z Series reflect AIKO's growth in the European market, where ABC technology already has more than a 21% share in the residential photovoltaic segment.
