AIKO will present its fourth-generation INFINITE ULTRA module at Intersolar Europe 2026, the latest milestone in its ABC (All Back Contact) technology roadmap. The new module achieves a series output of 690 W and raises efficiency to 25.6%.
The launch comes at a time when BC technology is gaining increasing traction in the global solar industry. Since introducing its first ABC module in 2022, AIKO has focused its strategy on advancing N-type BC technology and developing an ecosystem with partners across the entire solar value chain.
AIKO currently supplies its ABC modules to 79 countries across five continents through a network of 92 tier-one distributors. In the European residential solar market, ABC technology already holds over 21% market share, while AIKO has secured more than 19 GW in utility-scale project awards and established partnerships with 25 key global players in the energy sector.
The adoption of AIKO's ABC modules in the market has accelerated significantly. Shipments increased from over 700 MW in 2023 to 6.3 GW in 2024 and 14.7 GW in 2025. During this period, AIKO's ABC modules have maintained their position at the top of TaiyangNews' global ranking of module efficiency in serial production, a position the company has held continuously for 39 months.

The development of ABC technology has been driven by the continuous pursuit of greater energy conversion efficiency. The first generation of ABC modules, launched in 2022, incorporated an optimized front surface for light capture, complete passivation, and all-back-contact technology, achieving 570 W and an efficiency of 22.1%.
In 2023, the second generation introduced high resistivity, low oxygen content wafers, along with a 20 busbar (20BB) cell architecture, raising the power to 640 W and the efficiency to 23.7%.
In 2025, AIKO achieved large-scale commercialization of its third-generation INFINITE platform, which combines ultra-high resistivity, low oxygen content wafers, zero busbar (0BB) technology, and proprietary Full-Screen technology, to achieve up to 680 W and a module efficiency of over 25%.
Building on this evolution, the new INFINITE ULTRA improves both cell efficiency and module integration. By increasing cell performance and reducing inactive areas, the design allows for greater power output within the same module dimensions, raising its efficiency to 25.6%.
Attendees at Intersolar Europe 2026 will be able to experience the fourth generation of INFINITE ULTRA firsthand at the AIKO stands, A1.470 and A1.570.
AIKO continues to advance in solar conversion efficiency with the aim of increasing energy capture, reducing the cost of clean electricity and accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy.
