Axial, the European leader in solar trackers by shipment volume in 2025 according to Wood Mackenzie and S&P Global Commodity Insights, has joined the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) as a corporate member, thus reinforcing its commitment to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as a strategic region within its international expansion plan.
This addition represents a new step in the company's global growth roadmap, aimed at consolidating its presence in markets with high development potential for renewable energies and strengthening collaboration with key players in the sector in each region.
The Middle East and North Africa have established themselves as one of the world's most dynamic markets for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. Driven by ambitious energy transition goals, significant investments in renewable infrastructure, and exceptional solar resources, the region is poised to play a leading role in the next phase of global PV growth.
Joining MESIA will allow Axial to actively participate in the region's leading solar industry ecosystem . As the benchmark association for the solar sector in MENA, MESIA brings together developers, EPC companies, manufacturers, investors, utilities, and public bodies with the aim of driving the development of solar energy through collaboration, knowledge sharing, market analysis, and industry representation.

"The Middle East is a strategic market for Axial and a fundamental part of our international growth strategy," says José Luis Fayos , CEO of Axial.
"Being part of MESIA will allow us to strengthen our relationship with the main players in the market, better understand the evolution of the sector and contribute to the growth of the solar industry in the region," he added.
With over two decades of experience developing solar tracking solutions for utility-scale photovoltaic projects in Europe, America and other international markets, Axial continues to expand its global presence by offering high-performance solutions tailored to the specific needs of each project and market.
Joining MESIA reinforces the company's long-term commitment to the MENA region and represents a new milestone in Axial's strategy to drive the energy transition through innovation, local collaboration and sustainable growth.
