Just 2.5 km from "La Castellana I", the wind farm awarded in Round 1 of the RenovAr Program - in operation since August 2018 - the 15.2 MW expansion is being built, consisting of four 3.8 MW wind turbines from the Vestas brand.
According to information provided to this media outlet by the company, "La Castellana II has finalized its financial closure," which will allow the completion of the works, thanks to a loan from Banco Galicia, under the Project Finance modality, for 12.5 million dollars, with a term of 7 years.
Once ready and injecting clean energy into the grid, the company will supply Crown Casino, Orbis Mertig SAIC, Metrive SA, Sinteplast SA, Hoteles y Gestión, Banco Galicia, Rayen Cura SAIC, N.
FERRARIS SA and Frigorífico Cañuelas.

These are some of the contracts that CP closed to begin selling wind energy starting in July 2019, but they are not the only ones.
Already in the first days of May, CP announced a new energy supply agreement with Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes to supply all its plants with 100% renewable energy for a period of 20 years.
With an investment of nearly $74 million, the Budweiser wind farm, located in Achiras, Córdoba province, will supply more than 250,000 MWh annually to its ten breweries, two malt houses, and a bottle cap factory starting in 2020. This will reduce CO2 emissions by the equivalent of taking half a million cars off the road for a year, thus contributing to the planet's sustainability. "This project is part of our portfolio of renewable energy generation investments, which includes 148.8 MW to sell directly to Large Consumers (MATER) and 237 MW that contribute their energy through the RenovAr program," explained CPRenovables.
