Coral Energía is preparing to incorporate a new renewable asset in Santa Fe, thus closing a first strategic stage of expansion in the province.
The company announced the upcoming launch of its solar park in Firmat, an initiative that will add 5 MW of installed power to the Santa Fe electrical system.
With this project now operational, the company will reach a total of 20 MW of installed solar capacity in Santa Fe, also considering the parks already developed in Arrufo, San Javier, and San Guillermo. All projects were awarded in the Generfe 2023 call for proposals.
The combined capacity of these four parks will generate enough renewable electricity to supply up to 10,000 families in Santa Fe , consolidating Coral Energía as one of the private actors with the greatest presence in the provincial solar segment.

The company highlighted, through its social media channels, that the Firmat park " completes the first stage of four solar parks producing clean energy in the province ," while also emphasizing the continuation of investments focused on energy infrastructure and regional development.
Coral Energía is currently experiencing a period of strong operational growth and strategic expansion within the Argentine electricity market. The company projects to close 2026 with 260 MW built within its contracted portfolio, while also advancing with new renewable energy developments and energy storage systems.
“ This is a year of growth and consolidation for Coral ,” the company stated, describing its current expansion phase. Currently, in addition to the parks awarded through Generfe, the firm is working on projects obtained through RenMDI and preparing to begin construction related to the BESS segment.
Among these initiatives are BESS Pilar and BESS Parque, both 50 MW projects, awarded in AlmaGBA to operate on the Edenor network. The projects were contracted at prices of USD 11,461 per MW/month and USD 11,979 per MW/month, respectively.

In parallel, it has accumulated around 400 MW between contracted renewable capacity and projects under construction , while advancing with a roadmap aimed at reaching 1 GW in signed renewable contracts by 2030 .
The strategy includes expanding its participation in different segments of the national electricity market, including new storage tenders, projects connected to distribution networks, PPA contracts in the Term Market and energy supply for high demand sectors such as mining and data centers.
The company maintains that it will continue “ investing in key infrastructure to boost regional economies and ensure a clean and sustainable future for the next generations .”
Coral Energía's progress in Santa Fe adds to the growth the solar sector has been showing in Latin America, where more and more developers are promoting medium-scale and distributed renewable energy projects to meet industrial and corporate demand. This regional expansion will be one of the key topics of discussion at the upcoming Future Energy Summit, which will continue its tour on May 14 in Guatemala City and May 19 in Mexico City, bringing together leaders from the Latin American energy market.
