DQD, the leading Argentine company dedicated to the construction of solar parks, began developing its presence in Peru, as part of its regional expansion strategy.
The company's entry into the country is currently in its initial phase, focused on gaining in-depth knowledge of the market, building relationships with local stakeholders, and exploring the opportunities offered by the development of new renewable energy projects . In parallel, DQD already has machinery in the country and has made progress in analyzing various sites with potential for solar energy projects.
DQD's entry into Peru is based on its extensive experience in Argentina and Uruguay , where the company has participated in the construction of photovoltaic projects of varying scales under both BOS and full EPC models, integrating the engineering, procurement, and construction phases. With 1,374 MWp already built , DQD has developed a specialized structure for executing large-scale projects.
Among its main references is El Quemado, of 360 MWp , one of the largest scale solar projects in Argentina.

DQD's model combines engineering, planning, in-house teams, mobilization capacity and experience in executing large-scale projects , along with the progressive incorporation of local capabilities and teams in each market.
“Peru is a market we want to understand in depth. We are beginning to build relationships, analyze opportunities, and understand where we can contribute our expertise. It’s not just about entering a new country, but about establishing a long-term presence,” DQD representatives stated.
The company understands that the growth of renewable energy generation in Latin America opens new opportunities for companies with the capacity and experience to execute large-scale projects. In this context, Peru joins DQD's regional map , which continues to expand its presence beyond Argentina.
On September 28, DQD COO Alejandro Garín Odriozola will be in Lima participating in the Future Energy Summit (FES) Peru , one of the meetings that brings together leaders, companies, developers and investors from the regional energy sector.
Their participation will be an opportunity to continue strengthening the company's ties with the various players in the Peruvian market.
With this new stage, DQD begins to build its presence in Peru based on the experience accumulated in the region and with a focus on supporting the growth of solar energy and the new opportunities presented by the Latin American market .
FES Peru enters the final stretch
The second edition of the Future Energy Summit (FES) Peru will take place on September 28 in Lima, with storage, regulation, grids, financing, and project execution at the heart of the agenda. The event comes amidst more than 22 GW of solar and wind projects under development and a BESS market that could reach nearly 700 MW by 2030.
With just a few days until the event, the last available tickets mark the countdown to a day in which regulation, investment, storage and effective project execution will be at the center of the Peruvian energy discussion .
