The Association of Electric Power Distributors of the Argentine Republic (Adeera) held its Ordinary General Assembly , in which the new composition of the authorities that will make up the Board of Directors was defined.
In this context, Edgardo Volosin (Edenor) was re-elected president of Adeera for the fourth consecutive year. The decision, supported by the unanimous vote of the members, reaffirms a work agenda focused on strengthening the electricity distribution system, technical exchange among companies, and promoting initiatives related to innovation, efficiency, and the sustainable development of the sector.
The re-elected president has a distinguished track record in the field of electricity distribution. Under his leadership, the Association strengthened its institutional standing and promoted technological development and collaboration among distributors in Argentina.
During the last fiscal year, we worked together with Adelat—the Latin American Association of Electricity Distributors—on the dissemination of various documents, most notably: “Innovation and Strategies for the Management of Non-Technical Losses in Latin America and the Caribbean.” Furthermore, Adeera was part of the organizing committee for the ADELATAM Conference in Buenos Aires.
Volosin's administration will be supported by Vice Presidents Horacio Nadra (Edet), Juan Carlos Blanco (Edesur), Claudio Puértolas (Epec), Lisandro Peresutti (Epe), and Fernando Pini (Edes). The secretariats will be headed by Ariel Palumbo (Edemsa) and Hilario José Bistoletti (Secheep), while Gustavo Piuma Justo (Edea) will serve as assistant secretary.
The team is completed with Mario Moya (Epen) as treasurer, Alberto Velarde (Apeba) as deputy treasurer, and Jorge Alegre (Energía de Misiones) and Pablo Cuenca (Dpec) as members of the Accounts Review Commission.
With this new structure, Adeera will continue to promote technical exchange, joint work between distributors and the development of strategic initiatives to strengthen the Argentine electricity sector.
