The interactive map developed by Educar and the YPF Foundation starts by default with a view of the "all energy sources" tab.
In each layer view, you'll see icons for the selected energy source and an informative article with associated resources for further information. VIEW MAP. Clicking on each icon opens a window with information about that location. Also read: "IRENA presented a new global and interactive map on renewable energy that allows you to see potential by technology and country."
- Fossil fuel layer: presents a general article on energy from fossil fuels and geolocates the main oil concession areas, refineries and thermoelectric power plants in the country.
At each of the geolocated points, brief information is presented: name, location and main characteristics.
- Wind energy layer: presents a general article about wind energy and geolocates the main wind farms.
- Hydropower layer: presents a general article on hydropower and geolocates the main dams.
- Nuclear energy layer: presents a general article on nuclear energy and geolocates nuclear power plants.
- Solar energy layer: presents a general article about solar energy and geolocates the main solar parks.
