Enerminds, an Argentine company specializing in solutions for the management and documentation of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure, launched a regional growth strategy that seeks to replicate outside the country a model that it already applies in some of the main national distributors.
“We are thinking about Chile, Peru, Colombia, and eventually Central America. And the idea is to eventually reach the United States. That is the strategic plan,” said Gastón Moyano , CEO of Enerminds, in an interview with Energía Estratégica .
The initiative stems from a strategic decision the company made five years ago, when it identified an opportunity to bring solutions traditionally used by large distributors to smaller-scale utilities.
“Five years ago we asked ourselves a question: Why does what works for large companies not work for smaller ones? And that's where Prometium.com came from,” Moyano explained.

Currently, the company works with distributors and telecommunications companies such as EDEMSA, EPEN, Edesur, Eden, EPE, Edenor, Metrotel, and Edes , as well as the Concordia Electric Cooperative and other services and the Armstrong Public Works and Services Cooperative. It now seeks to build its regional growth on this experience.
“First, we’re establishing a foothold and things are going very well in Argentina. And the idea is to reach more customers in Latin America with these products,” the executive stated.
The goal of Prometium.com is to standardize processes and reduce the complexity that typically accompanies the implementation of these types of platforms. While large distributors usually require deeper integrations and custom development, this proposal aims to offer a simpler alternative for small and medium-sized organizations.
This expansion is driven by a growing need within the energy and telecommunications sectors: to efficiently manage the volume of information generated by modern infrastructure. The integration of sensors, smart equipment, and monitoring systems multiplies the amount of data available to companies.
“By digitizing and incorporating technology, it allows virtually any element on the network to communicate with you and tell you how it is,” the CEO stated.
However, having information doesn't always mean being able to use it effectively. According to the company, one of the main challenges is integrating that data into a single structure that allows for asset management, operations planning, and faster incident response.
“At Enerminds, we help companies to ensure that their data isn't scattered, but rather well integrated into a system, providing clarity,” he stated.
Quality of service and innovation as a differentiator
Proper information management has a direct impact on key indicators for electricity distributors. These include the duration of outages affecting users and the time it takes to restore service.
In addition to improving operations, the company believes that accurate asset documentation is a fundamental element for network security.
Alongside commercial growth, Enerminds continues to invest in research and development to incorporate new functionalities into its solutions and respond to the demands of an increasingly digital market.
“As a technology company, our R&D team is constantly seeking new solutions and aiming to surprise our customers with functionality,” Moyano concluded.
With Prometium.com as a tool to scale its business model and a consolidated base in the Argentine market, the company seeks to position itself in new markets in the region at a time when utilities face greater operational demands, more digitization and a growing need to manage data in an integrated way.
