—How's Dyness coming along?
I would like to set a trend and for other brands to start doing what we are doing, which is different.
-What are they doing?
Dyness offers a unique proposition in the market, as it's a global leader and, indeed, a leader in Latin America. We want installers to overcome their fear of storage thanks to Dyness. We'll gradually build brand awareness, promote the product, attract more customers, and democratize storage in Mexico and the region.

—What volume do you project to reach in the short term?
—We would like to close the year at 100 MW, although in a “conservative” way we estimate about 90.
—What are customers requesting today?
—First of all, they ask me for zero headaches. If I show up and sell them just the battery, they say: what else do I need?
—What is the response in those cases?
If I explain each accessory they need, I end up creating more problems than solutions for the customer. That's why here at Dyness, we integrate and deliver the complete solution.
—And what does the “kit” include?
We have batteries from 1.2 kWh to 836 kWh: we deliver them with BMS, with EMS, so that it's an all-in-one and you just arrive, connect and it works.
Unlike other brands that only provide the battery and then you have to add accessories, these are hidden costs of thousands of dollars that are already included in the solution here.
—Dyness has been on the market for several years now, but it would be great if you could tell us in your own words how it was born.
—It's important to point out that this company was founded by technicians and is made for technicians. In other words, they already had experience before its creation.
It was founded nine years ago and to this day we have had zero battery safety incidents.
This is achieved not only through experience, but also because the batteries incorporate BMS systems developed in-house by Dyness. These factors have distinguished the company from other brands and allowed it to enter markets with high safety standards, such as Europe, in addition to its presence in the United States and other international markets.
—In a context where many solutions seem similar, what makes them stand out?
Dyness is a premium, yet integrated battery for all kinds of scenarios. It's no secret that only five companies make the cells, but what you do with the cells is a very different matter.
—In what sense?
The integration of technology, such as the BMS I mentioned earlier, software, inverters, testing, and sensors, makes all the difference in safety. That's why we have over 200 patents.
—Is safety the differentiating factor?
The systems include sensors and prevention mechanisms, and the fire-fighting sprays have reaction times of less than five seconds. Various points within the cell provide early warning of potential problems; any defects are detected before a failure occurs.
Another advantage is that we listen to installers. Although we are a global company, being a mid-sized business allows us to develop products based on their needs.
For example, the LV stack we are presenting comes directly from suggestions by installers who required that type of solution for certain markets.
This product will be launched towards the end of 2026 and responds to specific demands of the sector.
—When closing a project, what ultimately tips the client's decision?
"Battery failures are bound to happen at some point in its lifespan, whether within a year or in the long term, because we obey thermodynamics, but someone has to be responsible for them. That's the main point for customers."
On the other hand, there are over 200 or 300 battery brands, and many only have contact at trade shows or via email. The fact that we have a local team makes all the difference.
