On Wednesday, October 28th, at 11:00 am in Room 1, Juan Camilo Castro, solar expert from S-5!, will present “The Impact of Indirect Costs in Railless PV Installations vs. Rail-Mounted Installations.” During the session, he will explain how to optimize time and costs in photovoltaic installations while reducing logistical requirements through direct mounting methods instead of conventional rail systems.
Attendees can visit S-5! at Booth #40C, Hall 11-16, Level 01 to learn about the new PVKIT® 3.0, a rail-free, direct solar mounting system for metal roofs. S-5! invented the world's first rail-free solar mounting system for securing solar modules in 2007. Now available in a standard configuration and with an optional 50 mm riser, the new system gives engineers and installers greater control over the clearance between the roof and the module, as well as the flexibility to select the configuration that best suits each project.

Also on display will be the S-5-CP™ clamp, designed for solar carports and canopies with C- and Z-frame structures. This drill-free clamp eliminates the need for drilling, reducing the risk of corrosion. In combination with PVKIT, it allows for railless module mounting, streamlining installation and promoting long-term structural performance.
For single-layer membrane roofs, including TPO, EPDM, and PVC, S-5! will be showcasing its Facet™ Mount fixing solution. Manufactured from high-pressure die-cast aluminum, the Facet Mount offers up to 16 attachment points, giving installers and engineers flexibility in anchor configuration and load distribution, while maintaining roof integrity without the added weight associated with ballast systems.
