The Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility (AEDIVE) has agreed to a change in leadership at its Technical Directorate, which will be assumed by Ferrán Menescal , replacing Javier Izquierdo , who had held this responsibility since July 2023 and who, after a period of work and commitment at the head of this department, has decided to take on new professional challenges, giving way to a new stage for the association.
The change is intended to give continuity to the work carried out by the Technical Directorate of AEDIVE and to strengthen the association's ability to continue supporting its member companies and the entire electric mobility ecosystem, at a key moment for the development of the sector.
Menescal has a solid professional track record and extensive knowledge of the electric mobility ecosystem. In addition to his training as an industrial engineer, he has gained experience over the past year as the regional representative of AEDIVE, a role that has given him firsthand knowledge of the association's operations, the needs of its member companies, and the realities of different markets and regions.
During this period, it has also strengthened its relationship with companies, public administrations and key stakeholders in the sector, consolidating AEDIVE's representation and expanding its knowledge of the challenges and opportunities currently facing electric mobility.
His career and the professional recognition he has built up over the years within the charging infrastructure and electric vehicle ecosystem, together with the knowledge acquired during his time as a representative of the association, constitute a solid foundation to assume the Technical Directorship and give continuity to the lines of work that AEDIVE has been developing until now.
AEDIVE also wishes to acknowledge the work carried out by Javier Izquierdo during his time as Technical Director and to thank him for his contribution to the growth and consolidation of the association and to the defense of the interests of the electric mobility sector.
With the addition of Ferrán Menescal to the Technical Directorate, AEDIVE faces this new stage with the purpose of continuing to strengthen its role as a meeting point and representation of companies linked to electric mobility, as well as continuing to promote the development of a more electrified, efficient and sustainable mobility ecosystem.
