Gonvarri Solar Steel has once again secured pole position in the photovoltaic business in Spain. The company, specializing in solar trackers and fixed structures, leads the 2025 tracker supply ranking again, marking its third consecutive year in first place, according to leading industry consultancy reports.
This is a significant fact: Spain remains one of the most dynamic solar markets in Europe, with large-scale utility-scale projects and increasing demands in design, logistics, and execution capacity. In this context, Gonvarri Solar Steel achieved a 22% market share, solidifying its position as one of the most influential players in the photovoltaic value chain.
The result allows the company to have led the Spanish ranking of trackers for three consecutive years, consolidating a relevant position in one of the most competitive markets for photovoltaic development in the region.
Solar Steel's leadership also extends to the entire Iberian Peninsula. According to the same reports, the company is positioned as the leading supplier of solar trackers in Iberia, considering both the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

"In an environment where the growth of the photovoltaic sector demands increasingly efficient, reliable solutions adaptable to different geographies and terrain conditions, Gonvarri Solar Steel continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading global players in solar technology. Because leadership isn't proclaimed. It's built, implemented, and validated every day in the market," the company stated.
In this way, the company continues with a strong strategy that recently included the announcement of cooperation with Solar-LIT to integrate solar trackers and automated cleaning robots in utility-scale plants , which translates into direct improvements for developers and EPC contractors, who will be able to increase the operational efficiency of the plants.
This cooperation allows for technical compatibility between Solar Steel's solar trackers —in single-row and double-row configurations— and Solar-LIT's automated cleaning robots, with a clear focus on the global utility-scale market.
“The adoption of automated processes in the operation and maintenance of plants allows our customers to maximize the overall performance offered by our solar trackers in the field,” said Javier Cueto-Felgueroso , COO of Solar Steel, at the time of the agreement.
