On September 18 , Growatt, together with its partner Meico Solar , held a technical training day in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic , which brought together about 40 installers and professionals from the energy sector for eight hours of training, exchange of experiences and analysis of real applications.
The activity was part of both companies' commitment to strengthening the technical capabilities of professionals in the solar sector and bringing to the Dominican market solutions capable of responding to increasingly relevant needs, such as energy backup, autonomy, the integration of different generation sources and smarter energy management.
The training was led by Eng. César Pérez, Growatt's Technical Leader for Latin America , who presented the main features and application scenarios of the SPF DVM and SPH 10000TL HU-US solutions.
Beyond a product presentation, the day unfolded as a space for practical training and technical consulting, in which attendees were able to analyze real installation situations, resolve doubts and delve deeper into key aspects for the correct design, configuration and commissioning of the systems.

The main topics covered included the integration of local monitoring systems using SCADA , good commissioning practices, the sizing of photovoltaic modules and strings , as well as the integration and synchronization with diesel generators in projects incorporating SPH and SPF inverters.
These contents acquire special relevance in markets where the continuity of electricity supply, system flexibility and the ability to integrate different energy sources have become important factors for residential and commercial users.
The solutions presented during the event address diverse application scenarios, ranging from systems geared towards self-consumption and backup power to configurations that combine photovoltaic generation, storage, and generators. This flexibility allows each project to be tailored to the specific conditions of the installation and the user's energy needs.
“At Growatt, we believe that technological innovation must be accompanied by knowledge, training, and technical support close to the market,” said Lisa Zhang, Vice President of Growatt . “Working with local partners like Meico Solar allows us to be closer to installers, better understand the challenges they encounter in real-world projects, and offer not only reliable energy solutions, but also the tools and knowledge needed to implement them safely and efficiently.”
One of the most valuable aspects of the day was precisely the direct exchange between specialists and installers. The questions and experiences shared allowed for an analysis of challenges encountered in the field and a deeper exploration of technical criteria that can contribute to improving the quality, reliability, and performance of installations.
For Growatt, these types of meetings are part of a broader strategy aimed at combining product innovation, technical training, and collaboration with local partners . The company believes that the sustainable development of the solar sector depends not only on offering increasingly efficient and intelligent technologies, but also on building an ecosystem of professionals prepared to design, install, and operate these solutions correctly.
With this training in Santo Domingo, Growatt and Meico Solar reinforce their commitment to the development of the solar industry in the Dominican Republic , promoting the exchange of knowledge and bringing solar energy, backup and energy management solutions adapted to the real needs of the market.
