Enel Green Power in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala is a business line of the company Enel Colombia SA
ESP.
Specifically in Colombia, it has a capacity of 3,589 MW , in addition to 1,102 MW of renewable energy under construction .
Among its generation assets, its 12 hydroelectric plants and the El Paso solar park (86.2 MWdc) stand out, the first central dispatch of this type in the country.

Also noteworthy are the Windpeshi wind project (205 MW) and the La Loma (187 MWdc) and Guayepo I & II (486.7 MWdc) photovoltaic parks; all under construction.
Specifically, regarding its wind farm, it must carry out prior consultations with certain communities in La Guajira (municipalities of Uribia and Maicao) so that they grant it admission of the project, since they are the owners of the approximately 6,200 hectares where the 41 wind turbines that make up the project will be installed, as well as their corresponding electrical connection works.
That is why Enel Colombia put into operation a mobile office to handle requests, complaints, claims and suggestions (PQRS) of the Windpeshi wind farm.
This service point, operated through Ecologic , travels once a month, from 8 am to 12 pm, to the communities Flor de la Frontera, Paliyawain, Utkapu, Kamushipa, Yotojoroin, Matajuna, Kalinchon, Jaika Kalinchon, Mashumana, Mashumana Wane and Jamucherru.
"We continue to innovate to establish effective dialogue mechanisms with communities, allowing us to learn firsthand about their needs, concerns and worries, and respond to them promptly," highlighted Gian Paolo Daguer , Sustainability Manager of Enel Colombia and Central America.
And he declared: "We are convinced that continuous listening is essential to grow hand in hand with the territory, identifying opportunities for improvement that contribute to building long-term relationships of trust.
This office is staffed by the Windpeshi PQRS Coordinator and a social worker from the Dialogue Subcommittee, belonging to the community in which the office is rotating, and whose role is to facilitate communication between the Wayuu person who submits their request and the Company.
In addition, the office has a loudspeaker through which information of interest about the project is disseminated, from the technical, social and environmental perspectives.
In the coming months, Enel Green Power will expand the reach of this mobile office to the 22 communities surrounding the transmission line and the 39 that are part of the Uribia-Wimpeshi road that the Company is improving.
In this way, it will cover the 67 communities with which it works on all three fronts of the project. Other communication channels To address requests, complaints, claims, and suggestions regarding the Windpeshi wind project, Enel Green Power also has a mobile (cell phone) line and WhatsApp service, available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Likewise, it installed eight PQRS mailboxes in the wind farm office (work site), the communities of Romana, Patajatamana and Wimpeshi, and the Mayors' Offices and Ombudsmen's Offices of Maicao and Uribia, also at the Enel Green Power operation site in Uribia.
These are available in the districts 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm, at the institutions and offices of Enel Green Power.
For its part, the Company implemented eight information boards at the same locations as the mailboxes, whose content is updated monthly, and every two weeks it sends a virtual newsletter to the communities in its area of influence with news of interest about the project.
"These channels are complemented by the continuous one-on-one relationship carried out by our social professionals in the territory, the Technical Committees made up of the authorities and leaders of each of the communities consulted, and the Social Dialogue Subcommittee.
"The latter is responsible, among other things, for managing, through dialogue, the differences and/or disagreements of the communities with the Company," Daguer added.
