LONGi will once again be present at ExpoSolar Colombia , which will take place from October 28 to 30 at Corferias . As a Platinum sponsor of the fair, the company will welcome customers, distributors, installers, EPC contractors, and other industry professionals at booth 10 in pavilions 11 through 16.
The presentation will focus on LONGi's Back Contact (BC) technology and the Hi-MO X10 family, developed on the HPBC 2.0 architecture. The portfolio aims to meet the needs of residential, commercial, industrial, and ground-mounted projects, with solutions designed to increase generation per square meter, improve safety, and facilitate installation.
BC vs. TOPCon results in Colombia
One of LONGi's main announcements during ExpoSolar will be the presentation of results from the laboratory developed together with the National University of Colombia to evaluate the behavior of different photovoltaic technologies under real operating conditions.

The laboratory, inaugurated in March 2026, allows for the analysis of variables such as specific generation, energy performance, temperature, irradiance, and module response to local climatic conditions. The initiative aims to provide verifiable technical information to developers, designers, installers, and end users.
In an 84-day evaluation, conducted between May 9 and July 31, 2026, configurations with BC technology recorded a specific generation and performance ratio between 3% and 6% higher than the compared TOPCon systems, even though the TOPCon configuration had a higher installed peak power.
During the fair, various technical spaces will be available to explain the methodology, present the data, and discuss its application in solar projects in Colombia and Latin America with specialists. These meetings will allow participants to review not only the nominal power output but also the system's performance over time and under real-world irradiance and temperature conditions.
Solutions for different scenarios
During the fair, LONGi will present a specialized portfolio of modules:
Hi-MO X10 Light Design. Weighing 7 kg/m², it is designed for roofs with load restrictions and projects requiring a lighter installation.
Hi-MO X10 Anti-Glare. Its glass reduces reflections, making it an alternative for airports and other glare-sensitive environments.
Hi-MO X10 Anti-Dust. Its design limits dust accumulation on the lower edge of the module, helping to reduce losses due to dirt and cleaning needs.
Fire-Resistant. It incorporates additional protection aimed at increasing fire resistance in applications where safety is a priority criterion.
Smart Module. Integrates optimizers to facilitate individual module management and improve performance in installations with shade, diverse orientations, or complex operating conditions.
Edge Clear. It brings the anti-dust concept to the entire frame of a bifacial module, with a configuration especially suitable for projects installed on the floor.
The main presentation will be the Hi-MO X10 Ultimate, a bifacial module with an efficiency exceeding 25.2% and a maximum power output of 680 W. With standard dimensions of 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm and a weight of 33.5 kg, it was designed to deliver high power density without altering the usual format of large-scale modules.
Innovation focused on the value of the system
LONGi's presence at ExpoSolar Colombia 2026 reflects the advancement of its BC technology within the regional market. In the first half of 2026, LONGi's global sales of BC products reached 19.55 GW, a year-on-year increase of 125%, representing more than 65% of its module shipments.
With its new portfolio and the dissemination of local results, LONGi seeks to broaden the conversation from price and plate power to the total value of the system: effective generation, safety, thermal performance, reliability and energy cost over the project's lifetime.
Visitors will be able to learn about the solutions, attend technical presentations and talk with the LONGi regional team from October 28 to 30, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, at Corferias, Bogotá.
