Efergía, a company dedicated to the distribution of solar technology in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, announced that it has reached 1 GW of photovoltaic equipment delivered , consolidating its presence in the regional market.
The milestone was shared by Maximiliano Morrone , the company's director, via LinkedIn, where he stated:
“We reached 1 GW of delivered solar technology. A number that speaks volumes.”
In his publication, Morrone highlighted the team's work and the role of its strategic partners in the company's growth:

“Sometimes the numbers speak for themselves… this would have been impossible without the commitment of the entire team and the support of our partners.”
Scale achieved and deployment in the region
According to company estimates, the volume of technology sold by Efergía is equivalent to enough energy to supply more than 400,000 homes , which gives an idea of the scope of its operations in the Southern Cone.
Since its founding, the company has focused on supplying photovoltaic solutions to various market segments, including:
- commercial and industrial projects
- distributed generation
- solutions for installers and developers
Through this model, Efergía positions itself as a key player in the value chain, facilitating access to technology, technical support and project development.
Alliances and growth strategy
The company's growth is supported by agreements with international manufacturers and technology partners. In this regard, Morrone highlighted the support of allies like Huawei Digital Power in the development of the solar market in the region.
This type of alliance allows Efergía to offer integrated solutions adapted to the needs of each market, in a context of growing demand for renewable technologies.
A growing market driving demand
The advancement of solar energy in countries like Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay has created a favorable environment for the expansion of companies in the sector.
In particular, Argentina ended 2025 with more than 3,700 user-generators and nearly 120 MW of connected distributed capacity , reflecting a growing adoption of energy self-consumption.
This context has helped to boost the activity of technology distributors and suppliers, driving sales volumes such as those achieved by Efergía.
Projection: consolidation and new objectives
Far from representing an end point, the 1 GW milestone marks a new stage for the company.
“This is just the beginning, we’re going for more,” Morrone said.
With a consolidated base in the Southern Cone, Efergía aims to continue expanding its market presence, keeping pace with the growing demand for solar solutions and strengthening its network of partners and customers.
The case of Efergía reflects the growing role of specialized distributors within the energy ecosystem, at a time when the adoption of solar technology continues to expand in Latin America.
The ability to scale volumes, forge technological alliances, and support market development positions these types of companies as a key link in the regional energy transition.
