With the aim of strengthening the technical training of professionals in the photovoltaic sector , Multisolar will hold a new free webinar focused on the use of design tools for the preliminary sizing of different types of systems. The event will take place on July 23 at 4:00 PM (16:00 CET) online via Microsoft Teams and is geared towards installers, integrators, and renewable energy specialists.

The training will be led by Juan Manuel Redón , Proposals Engineer at Multisolar , who will share technical criteria and methodologies for developing reliable proposals from the earliest stages of a project. During the session, participants will analyze tools for sizing on-grid, off-grid, solar pumping, and INVT systems, as well as selecting electrical protections, validating configurations, and conducting economic analyses of each alternative.
From his role within the company, Redón explains that his job consists of providing technical support to the network of integrators so that they can develop solid proposals for their clients.

The executive adds that this support includes both conducting energy simulations and preparing lists of materials.
"Whether through energy simulations or by preparing a list of materials, our intention is that our integrators feel confident when making their proposals," he says.
In that sense, one of the main objectives of the webinar will be to show how design tools simplify the preliminary sizing process and provide technical support to professionals who do not yet have their own developments to calculate their projects.
In this regard, Redón points out: "The sizing templates are schematic and easy to use, providing support to those who do not have their own templates for sizing systems."

He also emphasizes that the tools were developed to adapt to the different applications present in the photovoltaic market. "We strive to have tools that cover the various systems that exist: off-grid, grid-connected, solar pumping, etc., so that each integrator has the tool they need for their project," he states.
Project validation and component selection
Another aspect that the training will cover is the technical validation of the systems , a key step to ensure compatibility between the selected equipment before presenting a proposal to the client.
In this regard, Redón explains that these tools also function as a verification mechanism. "They serve as a validation tool to ensure compatibility between the chosen products, for example: the number of panels per string, the selection of appropriate electrical protections, among others," he points out.
In addition to electrical sizing, the webinar will incorporate concepts related to the economic analysis of projects, allowing the feasibility of solutions to be evaluated from a technical and financial perspective.
For the Proposal Engineer at Multisolar, the main benefit of these tools is the confidence they generate during the bid preparation process. "The most important thing is that they give the integrator the technical assurance that they are submitting a validated and sufficient proposal," he concludes.
Invitation to the webinar
