The Arauco complex closed October 2026 with two important national achievements, reflecting the excellent performance of its facilities and the energy potential of La Rioja.
According to the results released by Emmanuel Rejal, director of Parque Arauco, the Arauco II – Stages 3 and 4 (PEA III) power plant achieved first place among 72 wind power plants in the country, with a capacity factor of 60% and an installed capacity of 99.4 MW.
In the photovoltaic generation segment, Arauco Solar I obtained second place nationally among 94 solar power plants, with a capacity factor of 34.73% and an installed capacity of 50 MW.
A complex that continues to consolidate its leadership

“October was a great month for the Arauco Complex,” Emmanuel Rejal highlighted when sharing the results corresponding to the end of the month.
These indicators reflect the use of renewable resources, operational efficiency and the strategic importance of the complex for the energy development of La Rioja.
With national leadership in wind energy and second place in solar energy, Parque Arauco reaffirms its leading role in the Argentine energy matrix and its commitment to the development of clean and sustainable energy.
The results, updated to October 31, 2026, correspond to the capacity factor accumulated during the month, an indicator that allows evaluating the performance of the plants in relation to their installed capacity.
