With 10 years of experience in the development of welding and painting machinery, PESINGER Ingeniería Productiva entered the renewable energy sector a little over a year ago and is already innovating in its offering for wind turbine tower factories.
Among the clients who incorporated their "Catalytic Furnace Cabinet", two factories in the sector stand out.
One is located in Gualeguaychú (Entre Ríos), which has been producing for about eight months with the state-of-the-art high-power infrared catalytic technology SUNKISS MATHERM, and another is located in the city of Esperanza (Santa Fe), which is currently in operation.
Among the reported advances, last week the latest catalytic curing paint booth for wind turbine towers was put into operation at the Santa Fe factory and left in proper working order for the use of production.

According to Engineer Maximiliano Aimaretti of the Department, with that...
According to the company's technical and commercial team, the conditions are in place for the factory to receive its first wind turbine tower segment this week and begin production using the newly installed technology.
"There is no other paint booth that incorporates everything we offer."
Initially, it is large due to the volume of the wind turbine towers; it measures 45 meters long and 7 meters high.
But its unique feature is that in the same booth there is not only paint application with air injection through the ceiling, it also has suction through one of its walls and catalytic blankets that cure as the painter carries out his work.
It is novel in that sense.
So far, the two booths we have installed in wind turbine tower factories in Argentina are unique in the world.
The engineer also gave details to this media outlet about a Stop And Go line, with three new implementations for painting, which they developed in a company in Rosario (Santa Fe) dedicated to power generation equipment.
"The combinations we made in this line were: measurement and control systems, independent transfer and movement system and high power catalytic system.
Here, two linked lines were installed for their multiple schemes, and a large 22-meter (conventional) oven cabin for large equipment.
As the expert indicated, it was a combination of three elements that make it one of the most advanced surface treatment lines in the country.
On one hand, a conventional paint booth was incorporated with high technology (measuring and controlling the environment inside (relative humidity and continuous temperature values), and selecting curing ramps for multiple treatment schemes, thus guaranteeing the application required by the most demanding customers); from which, what PESINGER did was implement all the control parameters with triggers, so that the factory operator can receive different alarms when the desired requirements of the paint recipe are not met.
The unique aspect of this project is that, unlike lines for wind turbine tower factories, the diversity of the morphology of the parts and the variety of paint schemes required other adjustments that would not be prudent to make on a single line.
In the case of pieces that are very large (20 meters long and 18 tons), they decided that these should go through another adjacent line where the cabin, also conventional, adds high control technology.
In conclusion, the third point that it combines is an innovative movement system (not only longitudinal but also transverse) with pieces with overhead transport where one can link, couple and uncouple different lines at the same time, that is, there is the possibility of taking a piece out of one line and moving it to another line if the recipe requires it, otherwise it continues along the same line.
This latest positioning system was not previously implemented in Argentina.
Other more common alternatives are "continuous chain" or "power and free".
In this case, the proposal incorporates particularities of the power and free but this is coupled in several lines of this system and ends up being the most advanced, in addition to other particularities, due to the addition of catalytic technology.
This system, called "stop and go" by the company, takes its name from one of the lines they offer, with the 3D line being another variant.
In line with that, and as representatives in the country of SUNKISS MATHERM, they also incorporated here the high-power catalytic technology patented by the French firm.
This improves the line's productivity so that heavy, cured, and cooled pieces, ready for work, can be processed in 2 hours.
With these three successful developments, the company had a positive balance in its work supplying the energy sector.
Regarding the remaining tasks for this year, next week they will be commissioning a new line at a well-known company in the pipe manufacturing sector; and in this case, the hybrid line combining shot blasting technology (from CyM Materiales) and 3D line technology from PESINGER, loading the parts to be processed after their manufacture and unloading them from the line already cured and ready to work or pack.
While new contracts are being finalized with wind turbine tower manufacturers, the company says it will seek to expand its commercial network to other provinces in the country and also cover other industries in 2019 such as oil, mining, transportation, agricultural equipment manufacturing and structures, among others.
