Power Electronics, a leading global Valencian company in the development and manufacture of advanced energy conversion solutions for the solar energy, energy storage, data center, electric mobility and industrial sectors, has celebrated the start of construction on its new 210,000 square meter campus in Houston (United States), a key milestone in its industrial and growth strategy.
The company officially unveiled the project on Thursday, September 24, during a groundbreaking ceremony held in Houston, which brought together authorities, institutional representatives, clients, strategic partners, and prominent members of the Texas business and energy ecosystem.
"For the first time in many years, the United States will be able to meet its growing demand for sustainable power generation capacity and energy resilience thanks to local manufacturing and the support of the world's most advanced technology. Our Houston Campus, with a production capacity of 40 GW, will help define the future of energy and the growth of artificial intelligence globally," said David Salvo, CEO of Power Electronics.
Located on an area of approximately 21 hectares, the Houston Campus will feature two buildings that will integrate production, logistics, electronics manufacturing, R&D, training, corporate offices and other strategic functions.

Designed as Power Electronics' most automated inverter manufacturing facility , the complex will incorporate state-of-the-art production systems and highly automated processes to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, quality, scalability, and reliability. Once fully operational, it will achieve an annual production capacity of up to 40 GW and create more than 400 jobs.
This new capacity will allow Power Electronics to meet growing demand in the United States and the rest of the Americas, particularly in key sectors such as solar energy, energy storage, data centers, and electrification. The Houston Campus will complement the operations in Llíria and strengthen the company's global industrial platform, increasing proximity to customers and projects, as well as the resilience of its supply chain. This is the largest international industrial expansion undertaken by Power Electronics to date.
Valencia strengthens its role in the global industrial strategy
Power Electronics' industrial growth also involves the expansion of its Llíria Campus (Valencia), which will increase its surface area from the current 100,000 to 150,000 square meters. This expansion will allow the company to incorporate new business lines and strengthen its technological and production capacity.
With the expansion of both campuses, Power Electronics expects to reach a global production capacity of 105 GW. This model will allow for more efficient production distribution, strengthen proximity to customers, and support the growth of different markets.
