Power Electronics ended 2025 as the leader in total share of photovoltaic inverter shipments in Australia , according to Wood Mackenzie's Global Solar Inverter Market Share Report 2026.
This positioning consolidates the company in one of the most competitive and technically demanding renewable energy markets, where the integration of new solar capacity is progressing in parallel with strong growth in battery energy storage systems.
The company claims to have also strengthened its presence in the BESS utility-scale segment, participating in some of the country's main storage and hybrid generation projects.
This growth is supported by a combination of network formation technology, flexible system architectures and local engineering support, an aspect that is gaining importance as the connection and operation requirements of the Australian electricity system increase.

Power Electronics notes that it is currently working on projects ranging from 100 MW to 700 MW in various locations across Australia, supporting developers, EPC contractors, and asset owners during the integration and operation phases.
The focus is especially on reducing technical risks and ensuring the long-term performance of projects.
The company also highlights that it has built one of the most experienced local network engineering and support teams in the market, after more than 20 years of activity in Australia.
Solar and storage advance hand in hand
Leadership in photovoltaic inverters and growth in BESS show an increasingly visible trend in the Australian market: renewable expansion is no longer explained solely by new solar generation, but also by the ability to integrate storage and grid services.
In this context, grid-forming solutions are gaining prominence to support systems with greater penetration of renewables and greater stability requirements.
With projects of up to 700 MW , Power Electronics seeks to reinforce its role in the infrastructure that will accompany the next stage of renewable expansion in the country, in a market where flexibility and integration capacity will be increasingly crucial.
