Sources from Vestas, the wind farm's technology provider, report that last Wednesday, September 30, the Vestas maintenance team detected a broken blade at the El Llano III wind farm.
They clarified that "no injuries have occurred as a result of the incident and the area has been immediately secured."
And the company explained to Energía Estratégica that "our experts are conducting a rigorous investigation in collaboration with our client to determine the cause of the incident." "Until we have the results of this investigation, we cannot speculate on possible causes," Vestas concluded.
