Sigenergy presented SigenAgent , the first multi-domain AI agent in the energy sector, which will revolutionize the way homes and businesses interact with renewable energy.
Unveiled during the company's "AI in everyone" event, SigenAgent transforms solar and storage hardware from basic, reactive equipment to an autonomous, goal-oriented system.
As the global energy landscape shifts from power generation to complex and volatile consumption models, manual management has reached its limits. SigenAgent addresses this issue by enabling the hardware to actively interpret and execute the user's overall objectives.
"True AI is not just a chatbot," said Tony Xu , founder and CEO of Sigenergy. "It's a partner that understands your goals, performs tasks on your behalf, and continuously learns over time."

The vision: The user defines the goal, AI takes care of the rest.
SigenAgent operates in a continuous cycle of perception, reasoning, and action. By synthesizing real-time factors such as weather patterns, electricity price fluctuations, and grid conditions, it automatically plots and executes the most efficient operational route.
To offer comprehensive energy management, SignenAgent implements four specialized autonomous capabilities:
Energy Manager : Provides autonomous management of home solar and storage systems. Users simply set general goals, such as reducing utility bills or ensuring backup power supply, and the system automatically configures and manages the hardware.
System Doctor : Replaces manual logs with a "second-level diagnostic." A single command triggers an immediate scan of the entire station, identifying system anomalies and reporting root causes, drastically reducing maintenance costs.
Energy Operator : Maximizes revenue from storage assets in high-volatility, high-frequency electricity markets by optimizing real-time trading and responses of virtual power plants (VPPs).
Enterprise Assistant I: Connects directly to enterprise data lakes to eliminate information silos in production and distribution, providing clear, data-driven operational recommendations.
Built on a foundation of hardware and security
SigenAgent is not an isolated software patch, but the culmination of Sigenergy's long-term hardware and software integration.
CEO Tony Xu stressed that AI in the energy sector requires more than algorithms; it demands a reliable physical foundation.
More than 200,000 power plants worldwide operate using Sigenergy hardware with an ultra-low annual failure rate of 0.24%. Building on this foundation, Sigenergy utilizes integrated sensors across generation, storage, charging, and grid access, supported by high-speed 100 Mbps networks, WLAN-Mesh, and Sub-1G communications to create an integrated, closed-loop operating environment.
Thanks to an AI-ready architecture, existing operational units can access these agent functions through seamless over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
While it grants execution capabilities to AI, the system imposes strict architectural limits to ensure user safety and trust.
- User authorization : SignenAgent functions strictly as an assistant, requiring explicit user approval for critical parameter changes.
- Secure infrastructure : Data storage located in six global data centers ensures full compliance with regional privacy laws.
- Guaranteed offline resilience : Pre-programmed dynamic backup strategies ensure that the system continues to function smoothly even during network outages.
- Transparent AI Decision : A fully transparent user interface removes the "AI black box," accurately showing why a system is charged or discharged over a 24-hour period.
SignenAgent is designed to adapt to users' needs, seamlessly integrating into common workflows and messaging applications like WhatsApp and Telegram.
Standardizing the era of intelligence
To help define this new energy era, Sigenergy collaborated with Frost & Sullivan on the publication of the White Paper on Developing the New AI-Driven Energy Industry 2026.
The report describes the Energy Intelligence Level (EIL) framework, a five-level classification system inspired by autonomous driving standards, designed to guide the industry's transition from individual device intelligence to fully autonomous system-wide optimization.
"What Sigenergy offers today is not just a product or a technological upgrade, but a completely new energy lifestyle," Xu stated.
"Users can optimize every kilowatt-hour without needing to understand complex technical details. Energy systems are moving from being passive hardware to becoming active allies," he added.
