SMA , a global specialist in energy management solutions and photovoltaic inverter technology, participated in a new edition of Intersolar Europe 2026 , the world's leading solar industry event, held in Munich, Germany.
During the event, which brought together companies, experts and industry leaders to analyze the main trends in photovoltaic energy, storage, digitalization and integration of energy solutions, the company presented at its stand (B3.210) a complete technological offering aimed at strengthening the energy security and sovereignty of homes, businesses and generation plants.
The exhibition included storage solutions, hybrid systems, digital services, cybersecurity tools, and technologies for critical workloads in AI-powered data centers, reflecting the growing convergence between the energy transition and digital transformation.
One of the main highlights of SMA's participation was the presentation of its new Stability Enhanced DC Coupled Hybrid Solution , a solution developed to respond to the new challenges faced by large-scale generation projects, where operational efficiency, profitability and grid stability have become increasingly relevant factors.

This innovation integrates photovoltaic generation, battery storage and grid-forming capacity into a single solution, contributing to improved technical performance and profitability of generation plants.
Among its main benefits are the reduction of conversion losses thanks to direct current coupling, greater optimization of energy use and the ability to contribute to the stability of complex or low inertia electrical networks through network formation functions.
"The energy transition demands increasingly integrated solutions capable of combining profitability, efficiency, and grid stability. At Intersolar Europe, we are presenting our new SMA Stability Enhanced DC Coupled Hybrid Solution, which integrates photovoltaic generation, storage, and grid-forming capabilities into a single solution to reduce CAPEX, minimize conversion losses, and strengthen the stability of the electrical system. With this, we are driving more efficient, resilient, and future-proof power plants," said Daniel Rosende, Managing Director LATAM at SMA.
SMA's participation in Intersolar Europe 2026 reaffirms the company's commitment to developing technologies that drive a safer, more efficient and sustainable energy transition, keeping pace with the evolution of electricity markets and the needs of large-scale projects worldwide.
