Solar DQD has established itself as a leader in the execution of large-scale solar projects in Argentina, with over 1200 MWp built under EPC contracts and more than 2000 pull-out tests performed . Among its key recent achievements is the construction of Argentina's largest solar park: El Quemado , for YPF Luz .
The park is currently under construction, with 60% of the work completed and 100 MW already ready for commercial operation. Construction took 16 months and included the installation of more than 550,000 photovoltaic panels and 40 transformer substations in the province of Mendoza. It's worth noting that this project was the first approved by the government under the Large Investment Incentive Program (RIGI) and will have a capacity of 360 MW once all phases are finished. Additionally, Solar DQD completed the construction of Pampa del Infierno ( 150 MWp) , considered the third largest solar park in the country .
In just eight months , Solar DQD connected the plant to the grid after installing more than 220,000 solar panels and mobilizing 350 employees on-site. Alejandro Garín , the company's director, spoke with Energía Estratégica about the milestones achieved in 2025 and revealed the next steps planned for the following year, which include continuing the EPC business as well as developing their own renewable energy parks. "Taking on large EPC projects led us to restructure the entire company (...) Today we can say that we are the only company capable of building large-scale parks in Argentina with efficiency, quality, and safety," he stated. In addition, under the DQD Energy brand, during 2025 the company began operation of its first own generation project , with a capacity of 25 MW , in the province of Chaco. At the same time, the firm acquired a development with 20 MW of solar and 15 MWh of storage in Buenos Aires and obtained awards in the Renewable Energy Term Market (MATER) for 30 MW and 15 MW . "While the goal is to have 90 MW of photovoltaic capacity and 15 MWh of BESS operational by the end of next year, and 400 MW awarded ," revealed Garín. During this year, the company, specializing in EPC and now also involved in generation projects, deepened its digitalization strategy, focusing on obtaining greater precision and a larger quantity of data from its operations. To this end, they invested in cameras, drones, weather stations, and developed internal tools using Power Apps and Power BI, thanks to their team of systems engineers and data analysts. However, Garín warns that structural bottlenecks for solar development still exist, such as the need to increase electrical transmission capacity and the reactivation of structured financing: "It would be important for project finance to return," he emphasized. On the operational level, logistics remains a critical barrier, since, in his view, construction deadlines are often impacted by the lack of predictability in the arrival of supplies. main components. "It is common for the pile drivers to be the last to arrive and this has a great impact on execution times," the specialist pointed out.
Despite this, Solar DQD maintains its efficiency: "With components on-site, at DQD we average 8 months to bring 100 MW to COD," he indicates. Geographic expansion and new services. Simultaneously with the growth of its portfolio, Solar DQD is deepening its organizational structure.

The firm is doubling its headquarters in Córdoba and preparing to open its first branch in Buenos Aires , with the aim of expanding a staff that already exceeds 100 professionals . "We have also begun to design, calculate, and build our first switching facilities and medium-voltage lines."
“With this, we aim to solidify our new brand, DQD Services, as a leader in electrical testing, thermography, topographic and hydrological surveys, and everything related to operation and maintenance,” Garín explained. Furthermore, the most recent step toward internationalization is the execution of projects outside the country.
The journey began in Uruguay with the construction of new projects, and they expect to continue it throughout the coming year. "We believe that 2026 will be a year of overlapping high-power projects in multiple locations and with an even greater reach, and we are prepared for it," concluded the director of Solar DQD.
