Solis will participate in ExpoSolar Colombia 2026 , which will take place from October 28 to 30 at Corferias, Bogotá . The tenth edition of the exhibition is expected to receive more than 20,000 visitors from South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The growth of solar energy is accelerating the need for energy storage.
In 2025, the world installed a record 664 GW of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity, marking another historic year for the deployment of this technology. According to SolarPower Europe’s Global Solar Market Outlook 2026–2030 report, this expansion raised the cumulative global PV capacity to more than 3 TW. During the same year, 108 GW of new battery storage capacity was deployed globally, a 40% increase compared to 2024, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Colombia is also making progress in its energy transition. In July 2026, the country's clean energy auction awarded 995 MW of solar generation capacity and nearly 100 MW of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity, under its long-term clean energy contracting mechanism. According to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, this result represents an important step toward integrating energy storage into the Colombian electricity system.

Looking ahead to 2027, the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasts that solar power generation will maintain strong growth, while the increasing share of renewable energy will drive greater demand for energy storage, grid flexibility, and more efficient energy management. These trends create opportunities for integrated solutions targeting the residential and C&I sectors.
SolisStorage: comprehensive solutions for commercial, industrial and residential applications
At ExpoSolar Colombia 2026, Solis will highlight its SolisStorage portfolio, with special emphasis on two solutions for commercial and industrial applications:
- EverCore 261 kWh: an integrated solution combining batteries and a hybrid inverter, integrating energy conversion and energy management. Key advantages include rapid transition from grid-connected to off-grid mode, thermal management via air cooling, and scalability to meet growing energy demand.
- FlexCore-ID 80 kWh: modular and stackable energy storage solution incorporating lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and a flexible capacity configuration, designed to adapt to the needs of commercial and industrial projects.
Solis will also be showcasing its latest residential energy storage solutions, the 16 kWh IntelliHouse and the 15 kWh FlexHome-L , along with the following inverter models:
- S6-EH3P(100-150)K10-NV-YD-US
- S6-EH3P30K04-LV-YD-H-US
- S6-EH2P8K02-SV-YD-L
- S6-EH2P16K03-NV-YD-L-US
- S6-GC3P100K07-LV-ND-US
Through its integrated portfolio of battery and inverter technologies, Solis seeks to drive greater self-consumption of solar energy, flexible energy management, and reliable solutions for a wide variety of applications.
