Soltec, a company specializing in photovoltaic energy solutions, has appointed Vinicius Gibrail as its new regional general manager for the Latin American market. With this appointment, the company continues to strengthen its international structure and its commitment to a region that is strategic for its business, with the aim of further consolidating its growth, strengthening customer relationships, and advancing the development of innovative solutions for the solar market.
Vinicius Gibrail has over 25 years of experience in general management and business development positions at international companies in the renewable energy, certification, and electrical equipment sectors. Throughout his career, he has led commercial operations and multidisciplinary teams in more than 15 Latin American countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and various markets in Central America and the Caribbean, driving business growth and continuous operational improvement.
Gibrail holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Before joining Soltec, he developed his career in companies in the energy and industrial sectors, where he acquired extensive experience in organizational management and the development of international projects.
International expansion

The appointment of Vinicius Gibrail marks a new phase for Soltec, focused on consolidating its position as a technology company specializing in solar trackers and strengthening its presence in key international markets. Following the appointment this year of Alejandro Moreno to head North America, the addition of a new head for Latin America reflects the objective of strengthening the company's regional structure and continuing to promote a management model that is more customer-centric and tailored to the needs of each market.
Latin America is one of Soltec's strategic markets, where the company has over a decade of experience in countries like Brazil and Chile. The region will continue to play a key role in the company's international strategy, both for its growth potential and for Soltec's extensive experience in developing photovoltaic projects and supplying solar trackers.
Mariano Berges, CEO of Soltec, has praised the addition of Vinicius Gibrail as a further step in strengthening the company's international structure: "His experience and knowledge of the Latin American market will contribute to further developing our activity in a strategic region for Soltec and to facing this new stage with an increasingly solid team that is closer to our clients."
For his part, Vinicius Gibrail stated that "it is an honor to join Soltec and be part of a leading company in Latin America. I am embarking on this new chapter with a commitment to contribute to the company's development and continue supporting our clients in the region."
