To respond to this desire to find a systemic solution with a long-term perspective, the union brought together a group of prestigious experts in the energy sector who are already working to present different schemes to the governor of Chubut, Mario Das Neves , in March.
For the team's presentation, the Union invited stakeholders from the sector to contribute ideas, including Guillermo Tcharian , President of FECHCOOP and SCPL; Fabián Gómez Lozano , President of the Trelew Cooperative; Federico Kexel ; and Sergio D'Amico , among others. Regarding the objectives , González stated, " We have been facing a public services emergency for three years, and today we are working to present different proposals that seek comprehensive solutions," given that "we currently have different public service policies and tariffs in each city of Chubut ." He added, " We are evaluating the feasibility of creating a Secretariat of Electrical Energy or a Provincial Energy Company, and from there, conducting an in-depth study to determine a unified tariff for the entire province, establishing measurable service standards, and a unified purchasing system, among other actions ."
" We want to present Das Neves with a tailor-made proposal for Chubut in March, one that, in addition to generation, transmission, and distribution, takes renewable energy into account ," revealed the Secretary General of the Light and Power Union. The team , which is already working on a Provincial Energy Plan, includes Daniel Cameron , former National Secretary of Energy (2003-2014); Engineer Bautista Marcheschi , who also served as National Undersecretary of Electric Energy; Engineer Sabino Mastréngelo , an expert in renewable energy; Guillermo Gallo Mendoza , President of FUNPAT3MIL; accountant Pablo Korn , acting as liaison with the provincial government; renewable energy specialist Daniela Franco ; Javier Gallo Mendoza ; Engineer Claudio Damiano ; and Accountant Darío Di Pilla .
" The proper provision of public services must cease to be a problem for cooperatives" and become a strategic policy with a long-term vision," said Gustavo Monesterolo , secretary of FUNPAT3MIL, who coordinates the working group with Marcheschi.
