Ventus , one of the leading EPC construction companies for renewable energy projects in Latin America, presented its 2025 Sustainability Report.
The publication summarizes the main economic, social and environmental advances achieved by the company during the last year, within the framework of its 15-year history of promoting renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America.
The report reflects a year of regional growth and consolidation for the company, which reached USD 170 million in signed contracts, started operations in Ecuador, Guatemala and Costa Rica, exceeded 1000 MW under operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts and strengthened its social and environmental impact in the communities where it develops its projects.
The company also consolidated an accumulated experience of more than 2700 MW in the construction of renewable projects, of which 1150 MW correspond to photovoltaic plants.

In addition, more than 1200 MW have been developed from greenfield stages to ready-to-build status, strengthening its position as a comprehensive supplier for the sector.
Key results include the absence of serious accidents and environmental sanctions, over 39,800 hours of training provided to employees across various projects, 803 people trained in local communities, and a local hiring rate of 67% for projects completed during the year.
“At Ventus, we believe that how we grow is as important as the results we achieve. This report reflects that path and our commitment to continue building solutions that drive the energy transition and the sustainable and equitable development of the region,” says Juan Pablo Saltre, CEO and founding partner of Ventus.
The 2025 Sustainability Report is available to read and download , inviting customers, employees, suppliers, communities and strategic partners to learn in detail about the progress, challenges and commitments that guide Ventus' development.
New markets and technologies expand the regional portfolio
Among the major projects that marked the year was Kahirós in Uruguay, considered the first green hydrogen project for road transport in Latin America. The initiative will integrate a photovoltaic plant, an electrolyzer, and a hydrogen refueling station, with operations scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
Regional expansion was also reflected in the start of operations in Ecuador , where Ventus is providing EPCM services for the 110 MW Villonaco 3 wind farm, the largest in the country. In Guatemala , it is executing the 66 MW Solarium photovoltaic plant under an EPC contract, while in Costa Rica it is developing a 14 MW solar park for the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE).
In Colombia, the company is involved in the construction of the country's first park to incorporate a balanced energy storage system (BESS) and has secured the operation and maintenance contract for the 375 MW Puerta del Sol Solar Park . Furthermore, it continues to develop the Bugambiles, Buga 2, and Valledupar 1 parks for clients such as CTG LatAm and Celsia Energía, incorporating circular economy strategies to reuse construction waste.
Argentina remains another strategic market for Ventus, where it has already accumulated more than 1,200 MW of built wind and solar projects. In Colombia, meanwhile, it has over 750 MW of completed and under-construction projects.
