According to the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA), during the month of September a total of six projects obtained their Environmental Qualification Resolutions (RCA) (see table at the bottom of the article).
On one hand, two wind power projects presented by the firm WINDKRAFT stand out: Purranque 1 and Purranque 2 , both of 20.4 MW .
Each project will consist of three wind turbines of up to 6.8 MW of power each , which will be interconnected through an underground medium voltage (23 KV) electrical distribution line to a common convergence line.
The latter will be connected to the medium voltage distribution network, owned by the distributor Luz Osorno, of the SAESA Group .
Each project will inject 48.6 GWh into the National Electric System (SEN), the company estimates.
Furthermore, Andes Mainstream obtained approval for the Morros Wind Farm , which will consist of 24 wind turbines of up to 8 MW nominal power , generating a total maximum power of up to 192 MW .
"The Project will maintain two main sectors: The park sector (mainsite), where the energy will be produced; and the High Voltage Line sector (LAT sector) and Sectioning Substation, where the energy will be conducted to the National Energy System (SEN)," the company reported.
Finally, the Trinergy project can be highlighted: a 9 MW Small Distributed Generation Facility (PMGD), called Valentina Solar Photovoltaic Park .
"The installed capacity of the photovoltaic park is 11.6 MWp , and will consist of 17,790 bifacial photovoltaic panels of 655 Wp or similar, in direct current, under standard test conditions.
"The area where the project will be located has a total surface area of 15.85 hectares," the company reported.
Two other electrical projects were also approved.
On one hand, the New Transformer at S/E Punta de Cortés, with its Respective Line Sections at Both Voltage Levels 220 and 154 kV , of the company CGE .
On the other hand, the project "Increase capacity LAT 1x110 Costanera-Puente Alto ", presented by Transmisora Eléctrica Cordillera .
