Future Energy Summit (FES) will return to Madrid with a new edition of FES Iberia Renewables & Storage, marking the official start of the group"s international 2026 calendar of renewable energy events.
Scheduled for 12 February, FES Iberia will convene more than 50 senior executives and high-level public officials from across Europe, consolidating its position as one of the most influential platforms for analysing trends and supporting strategic decision-making in the energy transition.

One of the most anticipated sessions will be "The future of photovoltaic projects in Spain with energy storage as an ally, featuring participation from Ignis Energía, Yingli Solar, Huawei and Schletter. The panel will focus on new technological, regulatory and financial integration models that enable more efficient solar plant operation through battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Ignis Energía, one of Spain"s most active renewable developers, will contribute its perspective on scaling up and market diversification.
The company currently manages a portfolio of more than 10 GW in Spain and over 30 GW globally, with projects across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
From a technology standpoint, Yingli Solar will share its experience as a manufacturer of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules.
At the previous edition of the event, the company showcased the Plateau Panda 3.0, a 750 W module with 24.1% efficiency, capable of reducing CAPEX by 1.5% and levelised cost of energy (LCOE) by up to 2.9%.

Yingli"s current R&D focus is on the advancement of N-Type TOPCon technology, alongside the development of next-generation solutions based on tandem cells and perovskite materials, with the goal of exceeding 30% cell efficiency.
Huawei will present its vision for smart energy infrastructure supporting the energy transition.
The company has recently launched key solutions for the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, including the SUN2000-150K-MG0 and 30 50K-MC0 inverters, as well as the LUNA2000-215, the industry"s first hybrid-cooled energy storage system.
These technologies are designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety and scalability, addressing a wide range of deployment scenarios.
The panel will also include Schletter, a global supplier of solar mounting structures, which has been strengthening its footprint in Europe, particularly in Spain and Portugal. The company develops fixed-tilt systems tailored for demanding environments, with a strong focus on ease of installation, optimised logistics and LCOE reduction.
In parallel, Schletter is expanding its agri-PV solutions, enabling the coexistence of agricultural activity and solar power generation.

In this edition, FES Iberia will place energy storage at the centre of the discussion, positioning it as a cross-cutting enabler for the evolution of the photovoltaic market.
As such, the event aims not only to foster technical and strategic debate but also to act as a high-value business development platform.
As is customary across the FES international tour, dedicated high-level networking spaces will play a key role, bringing together hundreds of executives from leading companies and public-sector institutions to advance agreements, partnerships and contracts that support sustainable energy development across the region.
